George and Zakia Beresford moved to London almost two years ago from the Midlands. Having moved in to an old Victorian house which required a little renovation they were in need of a new kitchen. After a recommendation from a friend they decided to give Charnwood Kitchens a call.
We had a number of quotations from kitchen companies around the Islington / London area and were almost set on one company until our friends recommended Charnwood to us after just having a kitchen installed by them. After a weekend visit to our friend’s house we were very impressed with the quality and design of the kitchen. With this in mind we contacted Charnwood.
After an initial site visit to get measurements and discuss designs, everything else was done by email. After a number of emails / phone calls we had settled on a design and price. The guys then came down again about a month before installation to check measurements etc. After contacting Charnwood we did have visions of making endless journeys back up to Coalville to discuss and go through the kitchen but to our delight this was not the case. As we live on the outskirts of London it was also more astounding that everything seemed to run so smoothly. The team worked very well together and kept us updated all the time on progress. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and have already recommended them to some of our friends.
We would also recommend anyone thinking of having Miele appliances to go and visit the Miele showroom in Abingdon. The visit to Miele was invaluable to us and means we can actually use our ovens etc properly and are now aware of all the features they have.
Thanks guys for a superb kitchen. It was a pleasure having you all in our house and we would like to commend you on your professionalism and great workmanship. No doubt I will be seeing you all again when we eventually get around to renovating the games room and bedrooms.
